Who's guilty?

The other day the teacher told us a story and she asked: who's the guiltiest?
The story was about a girl who got pregnant and what people close to her did. There were many disagreements in class, so here I am, trying to explain my point of view.

It seems to me that the girl was a victim, although she was guilty of her own acts. Because of this, the guiltiest is the guy, her boyfriend. He left her alone, avoiding what happened. That was just cruel.
Second place goes to the doctor, because... he is a doctor!, and he didn't help her. If you are a doctor is your job to help in these cases, right? Besides, being a friend of the family...
Thirdly, the nurse. I have to say that she was the only one who tried to help the girl, but she made such a big mistake.
After the nurse, the girl is who continues the list. She was guilty and she didn't do the right thing, but she was desperate and there was no one by her side.
Now is teacher's turn. She didn't try to help the girl but it doesn't make her guilty. She wasn't kind, that's all.
Finally, the parents are the last of the list. They are not guilty, they couldn't help her or do anything because they didn't know what was happening.

After all, each of us has our own way of thinking and draw conclusions. So, I have a simple question for you: in your opinion, who's the guiltiest?

One summer's day

Last summer was an unforgettable experience, full of fun and excitement.  I went to California, to a host family, to practice my English. I never thought that the destiny would carry me to a special friend. A friend who, actually, was one day so close to me.

The first time I saw her was on the bus we took in Donosti to go to the airport. She was a very shy and quiet girl, but she seemed nice. The days passed, the sun was shining in California and we were having fun. I made a lot of friends but I realized that I had with Maddi, that shy girl, a special connection. We laughed a lot together and, somehow, we understood each other. We had a really good time.

One day, when we went to spend the evening with other friends in Laguna Beach, something surprising happened. Maddi was typing on the phone and I looked at the screen. I thought I saw something in the background, but I thought it couldn’t be true. She couldn’t have a picture of my favorite band in her mobile phone. We were totally different. Absolutely different! That had to be... impossible?

Finally we realized we liked the same group and that we have been in the same concert in 2010! In the same area of the event, so close each other! We were puzzled, really shocked, for three days. And we keep smiling every time we remember that. Definitely, music makes people come together.
