Dear Futur Me:

Dear future me,

How are you doing? (It´s funny, because “you” are “me”) I´m very mixed right now. I hope that you have things clearer now and that you have chosen the right way. I would like to see my face reading this letter!

If your passion for the arts, drawing and writing have not changed (something I think impossible), you will be studying graphic design, architecture or any other career that you really like. Are you still leaving things to the last minute? I hope you have changed that and you're working hard in college.

Have you been to Germany and Scotland? I can´t wait to go there! I really don´t know where you could be living, but I think I would be sharing a flat in an interesting city with some friends. I hope you've met nice people from all over the world and, maybe, you have found someone special too. I wish you haven´t forgotten your childhood friends. Don´t lose your great relationship with all of them! Maybe you can´t see them very often but, please, stay in touch! Certainly, have you cut or dyed you hair? I hope you haven´t.

Have fun wherever you are and enjoy your free time! Save money and travel as much as you can! Enjoy your 23´s having good times with your new friends, but without forget your old ones and your family! I hope you haven´t changed too much.
Best whises,

Yourself

Being 17!

We are seventeen and this is our time to enjoy the freedom and have fun in our last year until being eighteen and start having a lot of responsibilities. But how can we have fun if we aren´t older enough to do some stuff and if our parents are always trying to control us?

On the one hand, there are some pros of being seventeen like, for example, our holidays during all summer or not having to work. What is more, we don´t have money problems, because we are dependent on our parents. Moreover, I think that the main advantage of our age is that we have less responsibilities and more free time.

On the other hand, there are disadvantages like when we try to get into a club and the bouncers stop us. In addition, we can´t vote and, as a result, we can´t decide about the future of our country. We aren´t allowed to drive or to drink alcohol and we have to tell our parents about every plan we make.

In conclusion, I have to say that, in my opinion, there are more advantages than disadvantages of being seventeen. So let´s enjoy the freedom and the good times because we won´t be seventeen forever.
