Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai, a 14 year old girl from Pakistan, was shot two weeks ago by the Taliban while she was returning home on a school bus. Two students, Malala´s friends, were also injured in the attack. All this happened after she did an interview for the BBC talking about her rights.

In my opinion, the culture is not everything. Human rights are above all and, I think, that this courageous girl has been the voice of the girls and the most of the students of her country. These girls are in real danger, they could be killed by a Taliban any day, and just because they go to school!

On the one hand, Malala is a girl who doesn´t give up, and her father supports her all the time. She only wants to have her education and study medicine like any other girl in the world, but being a girl in that country makes your life hard, difficult. On the other hand, I can´t understand why people don´t let women have their education. It is cruel and inhuman.

To sum up, I think that is hard to know how in some countries people still having that point of view, where women are almost nothing. It must be hard to see how your dreams are coming down, just for being a girl.
